HMS Brinton was a Ton Class Minesweeper of the Royal Navy, built by Cook, Welton and Gemmell Ltd of Beverley and completed on the 4th of March 1954. She was commissioned on the 9th of March 1954 for the 104th Minesweeping Squadron based at Harwich, and was later converted to a minehunter between June 1966 and September 1968. With 30 years fully operational, HMS Brinton represents the long and adaptable service of the Ton Class in Royal Navy mine warfare.
