HMS Haydon (L75) Royal Navy Hunt Class Escort Destroyer shown in a port side view in 1943. This Royal Navy photo print captures the escort Destroyer in a clear side-on composition, highlighting the profile and wartime character of this distinguished Second World War warship. The clean port side view and historic naval subject make this a striking piece of military wall art, British maritime wall decor and naval history display for collectors of Royal Navy warship prints.
HMS Haydon was a Hunt Class Escort Destroyer of the Royal Navy and a member of the third subgroup of the class. She saw service in the Second World War. Most ships of this class were named after British fox hunts, and she was the first Royal Navy warship to bear this name, after the Haydon Hunt in Northumberland. In 1942, she was adopted by the civil community of Wallsend in Northumberland as part of Warship Week.
This military wall art photo print is ideal for Royal Navy veterans, serving personnel, Hunt Class Destroyer enthusiasts, Second World War naval history collectors and admirers of British maritime wall decor.
