HMS Tiger C20 Tiger Class Light Cruiser From Above Photo Print
HMS Tiger (C20), a Royal Navy Tiger Class light cruiser, is photographed from high above as she races away diagonally across the frame, her bow towards the lower right and her starboard side facing the lens. Foaming white water streams along both sides of her hull, and her deck layout is laid out plainly, from the forward 6-inch turret and 3-inch mounts to the second 6-inch turret near the stern. This undated black and white print shows her before the conversion that removed her after gun.
Tiger is best remembered for hosting the talks between Prime Minister Harold Wilson and the Rhodesian leader Ian Smith, held on board off Gibraltar from 2 to 4 December 1966. The meeting failed to settle the Rhodesian crisis, and a fortnight later, on 18 December 1966, she was placed in reserve. The ship's name became attached to the episode, which is still known as the Tiger talks.

We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
